While most of us focus on perfecting our beauty routines, we always have our eye out for the newest beauty products on the market. We women spend so much time searching for the perfect foundations, blushes and lipsticks; we forget the most important feature, our eyebrows! Many of us don’t really know the importance of the eyebrow. Even if they look good, they may not be the best shape for your face! Eyebrows can play a huge role in widening the eyes, narrowing the face, and drawing attention away from certain features, whilst enhancing others.

Bold brows are classic. Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor rocked the classic brow way before it became a runway beauty trend! Bold eyebrows have made a comeback and it looks like it will be sticking around for a little while longer. Eyebrows have made a bold statement on every runway, magazine covers, celebrities and models. Cara Delevingne, Camilla Belle and Megan Fox are some of the few people, who have a taken to this trend and I must say they look fabulous!

Here are some key tips on how to get the perfect bold eyebrow:

* Don’t over pluck your eyebrows.

* Black eyebrow pencils and waxes are a no-no.

* A dark brown eyebrow pencil is much more natural and flattering for those with dark hair.

* Pick a colour that is the same shade as your hair, or one shade darker.

* Use a clean eyebrows brush to give your brows the best shape, before you start.

* Use a lotion or Vaseline on your eyebrows, this will help fastening your eyebrows hair growth.

As you know if you live in the Uk it has recently been bitterly cold and windy. So I’ve made and extra effort in finding products that still keep me looking my fabulous self during these harsh temperatures.
I’m so in love with this Yves Saint Laurent foundation, it’s by far one of the best i’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot! So I always keep it close. I recently purchased this MAC concealer and in the short time I’ve had it, I must say I’m impressed. Covers and hides imperfections like a cloak of invisibility.
By Terry, Benefit and Xen Tan are products I have been trying out for sometime, so they have made it to my essentials products list. The Marc Jacobs perfume is a handbag essential which smells amazing and is one of my well loved scents.

Beyoncé For H&M Confirmed

Beyoncé for H&M confirmed. The star has been announced as the face for the H&M summer campaign. The singer models pieces inspired by her individual style and she also gave “personal input on the pieces seen in the campaign”, confirmed a representative for H&M.

“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind,” said Beyoncé. “It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.”

The campaign features swimwear and beachwear pieces – including a bikini from the H&M for Water collection, which raises money for WaterAid. The print adverts will be accompanied by a television commercial featuring Beyoncé’s new song, Standing On The Sun.

“H&M’s Summer campaign starring Beyoncé is an epic fantasy, with glamour, drama and also a sense of paradise,” said H&M’s creative director, Donald Schneider. “It was amazing to watch her on the shoot make it all look effortless – a quality that makes her such an icon for women around the world. The campaign is the essence of Beyoncé, and also the essence of H&M this summer.”

The print and billboard images, which see her reclined on a beach sun lounger were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in the Bahamas earlier this year. The adverts introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs Carter in H&M” perfectly tying in with the name of her upcoming sell-out world tour.

Line due to launch worldwide in May.

Givenchy Creates Tour Costumes for Rihanna

Pop stars have always had strong ties to prominent designers, so it’s not surprising Rihanna asked Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci to create her stage costumes for her Diamond World Tour.

Riccardo Tisci has created a number of besoke Givenchy outfits to wear on her most anticipated yet, ‘Diamonds World Tour’, which kicked off last night in Buffalo, New York. Combing haute couture techniques with Tisci’s signature sportswear aesthetic, designs show a graphic black and gold hooded parka embedded with Swarovski elements, embroidery and a target motif. Paired with silk-satin shorts and a white leather bra. The second costume includes a floor-length silk-crepe cape paired with thigh-high boots.

Tilda Swinton New Face Of Chanel

The English actress Tilda Swinton is the new face of the new Chanel campaign. Tilda models designs from the labels Scottish inspired Metiers d’Art Paris-Edimbourg collection. Chanel spokesman said Tilda was chosen for her ”unique personality, charisma and allure”.

“Tilda is of course Scottish, but more than that she is a modern women – a timeless icon of elegance” said Karl Lagerfeld.

This is Tilda’s latest project, having previously been the face for Pringle of Scotland campaigns and more recently starred in David Bowie’s latest music video ‘The Stars (Are out Tonight).’ The full Metiers d’ Art Paris-Edimbourg campaign is set to release in May.

Rihanna for river island campaign shots have officially and finally been released and boy oh boy are they F-I-E-R-C-E.

With Rihanna’s model line-up including the super bubbly british supermodel Jourdan Dunn, Jourdan was joined by fellow models Charlotte Free, Tao Okamoto, Ataui Deng and Bambi Northwood Blyth.

Rihanna and MAC Collection

You can certainly say that Rihanna has conquered it all! With fashionistas tongues still wagging about her self-designed line for River Island, which made it’s first appearance during London Fashion Week last weekend. The singer has yet again surprised us all with her announcement that came earlier on today, that she has also joined forces with MAC Cosmetics. The Rihanna and MAC collaboration, was a collaboration that we all saw coming. WIth the huge following this pop princess has met with the giant’s prominent status in the cosmetic world, the two were bound to partner eventually.

With MAC being no stranger to partnering with pop stars such as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and Azealia Banks. This will be the first time that MAC has worked with a celebrity beyond a one-off product.

Rihanna will release four collections which will be rolled out throughout the year under the name RiRi Hearts MAC. It will be sold at Rihanna’s concerts and online, and will include lipsticks, blushers, eye shadows and false lashes.

“When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind—for something legit—is MAC,” Rihanna told WWD“ Whatever color you want, it’s like ‘Let’s go to MAC.’ I’ve been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand.”

The first release will be RiRi Woo, a lipstick inspired by her favourite MAC red, Ruby Woo. The product will debut at Rihanna’s “Diamonds” tour shows on May 4 and 5 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where MAC will open a pop-up shop on the first night to unveil the line.

“This is a true, organic collaboration based on mutual admiration and respect. These four collections are like four tracks on a Rihanna compilation. Each one has its own vibe, look, special makeup packaging and flavor. This is really the convergence of pop culture, fast fashion, and iconic style and makeup,” said Demsey. “She’s a star. The world follows her look—how she wears her hair, her nails, her clothing, how she styles herself.”

A campaign for the fall and holiday collections has already been shot with fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, while industry experts saying that the line could pull in $15 million globally. With John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., MAC’s parent company happy to have Rihanna on board we can only predict another sold out collection for MAC.

The line will be launch later this year.

NYC Fashion Week: Victoria Beckham

Never did I think I would see Victoria Beckham embrace menswear like she did in her AW13 collection. Mrs Beckham is known for her sexy, skintight dresses but she surprise us with her menswear interpreted tailored coats. Tailored checked tweed, blue pony hair combo coat was one of the shows favourites pieces but for those who want to be fuss free traditional look there was simple allover plaid option available.
